Please read these regulations carefully before proceeding with registration
Important
Reading and accepting the internal regulations is mandatory to proceed with your child's registration at Gan Haya.
Admission
- An adaptation period is mandatory for each child.
- Its duration and terms are defined by the Gan Director, in agreement with the parents.
- The adaptation period is on average one week.
- Billing begins from the child's entry to the Gan, including during the adaptation period, in accordance with the established contract.
Reception and Opening Hours
- The Gan is open Sunday to Thursday, from 7:35 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Arrival and departure times are set by the Management, in consultation with parents, according to their work schedules.
- Children are welcomed until 9:15 AM.
- Any delay beyond this time must remain exceptional and be reported in advance.
- Adherence to these schedules is mandatory.
Reception Organization
- When a child is picked up during the day by parents or a third party, they cannot return to the Gan the same day.
- Children are only released to an adult: the person who entrusted the child to the Gan, or a person expressly authorized by the parents.
- In case of exceptional circumstances, parents must inform the Management and the educator, and provide the complete contact details of the authorized person.
- Otherwise, the child cannot be released. The authorized person must present identification.
- Parents must provide valid and reachable phone numbers. Any change of number must be reported immediately.
- In case of parental travel, the contact details of the responsible adult must be communicated to the educational team.
Absences and Closures
- The Gan is closed from August 7th, as well as on dates listed in the holiday calendar provided at the beginning of the year.
- For regular attendance, the financial contribution is due for twelve months, regardless of the child's absences.
- Any absence must be reported to the director no later than the same day before 9:30 AM.
Permanent Departure
- The family must inform the director at least one month in advance of the child's permanent departure date.
- One month's notice is required, as well as payment for August prorated according to the departure month.
- For organizational and financial stability reasons, as the Gan must operate at full capacity, any child leaving at the end of May must pay for June, July and August in full.
Medical Supervision
- Parental authorization is requested to allow first aid interventions.
- In case of accident or sudden illness during care hours, the family is immediately informed by the Director.
- She may need to contact a doctor or decide on hospitalization in case of emergency.
- All expenses incurred (consultations, medications, transport, etc.) remain the responsibility of the families.
Sick Child
- Any child showing signs of illness upon arrival may, depending on their condition, be returned to the accompanying person.
- The child's return will only be allowed upon presentation of a medical certificate specifying the exclusion period, or authorizing immediate return.
- A child who has had a fever can only return to their group after 24 complete hours without fever.
- In case of contagious disease, the child will only be accepted with a medical certificate attesting to their non-contagiousness.
- If a child has two episodes of diarrhea at the Gan, parents must come pick them up and the child cannot be accepted the next day.
- If, despite a medical certificate, symptoms persist after return, the Gan reserves the right to consult its doctor to determine the course of action.
Medications
- No medication will be administered to children.
Pricing
- For regular attendance, the financial contribution is monthly.
- The monthly rate is 4300 NIS.
- An amount of 800 NIS is requested for insurance and holidays.
- Payment by automatic direct debit only
- In case of Gan closure due to exceptional circumstances (war, epidemic or other external event), the question of a possible refund will be decided by a competent Rabbi according to Halacha.
General Provisions
- The director performs her duties with children, parents, the educational team and in the overall management of the Gan.
- She ensures the development, well-being and respect for each child's pace, in collaboration with the Gan's educational advisor.
- If the Section Head, in agreement with Management, believes a section change is beneficial for the child, it will be implemented respecting their pace and interest.
- In case of repeated disagreements regarding the operation or organization of the Gan, Management reserves the right to no longer accept the child.
